Kauai-Day 6

Day 6!?!? Man, we only have 4 more days :( We met an old guy last night in the hot tub who was here for 2 months! Lucky.

This morning we went out to breakfast for the first time. We have been making eggs and bagels and fruit for breakfasts here at the resort. It was time to go get some breakfast! I had an amazing Luau omlette with cheddar, spinach, onions, and kalua pig. Amazing. Erin had mahi mahi and eggs, with rice and cornbread. Ya know, a normal breakfast.

We found a reformed church (the only one on the island) to attend this morning. It was great. We sang the doxology in Hawaiian, so cool! Then we sang it in English, too. We came back, swam in the pool, took a nap. We were really embracing the day of rest :)

We went to the Kauai Coffee Plantation later today!

For dinner tonight, we went to a great restaurant in Old Koloa town. We ate ahi poke as an appetizer and shared a kalua pig sandwich and marlin sandwich. Delish!

Time for the hot tub :)
