LOL Kathi tried it once and her bread was like hair. (She would tell you the same. lol)

I like the soaking of flour and I did that with whey from the making of Greek yogurt I did when I tried that. I didn't use kefir for that. We were drinking it too fast here with all the mouths I have. :D I messed my grains up though so I will have to get some new ones before it will work again. Once I do, and they grow, I would be happy to give you some. It is great stuff and we all love it.

We do bake bread regularly and it is yummy. :D If you have the $ for a grain mill, it is worth every penny.

:+) KateKatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00035122244780616689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-59824639959956183.post-77826642721871885412012-04-18T19:58:59.095-07:002012-04-18T19:58:59.095-07:00Charlotte- You have your hands full! And it was fun and they are all natural.

Kate-I hope someday to get a grain mill and sprout my own flour. I want to make milk kefir so I can use it to sprout stuff. Have you ever made it? It would be so fun to get tips from you, since I am a newbie :)Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08803523452628759065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-59824639959956183.post-26537470061683523532012-04-17T22:11:52.760-07:002012-04-17T22:11:52.760-07:00Do you know, I had to scroll up and make sure I wa...Do you know, I had to scroll up and make sure I was on your blog because you wrote, "don't have to take the kids..." and I thought - what - wait a minute... :D

We make our own bread here to and grind our own grain. We also love coconut oil. We don't make kombucha, but we do make water keifer! We really should talk about this stuff on Sunday! :D

I am so glad I found your blog. I LOVE the look of it as I adore peonies. :)

Warmly,
KateKatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00035122244780616689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-59824639959956183.post-37886161610061700272012-04-17T07:47:30.499-07:002012-04-17T07:47:30.499-07:00Okay, I just have to say that you are doing everyt...Okay, I just have to say that you are doing everything I want to do, but can't quite get to with the homeschooling, 4 children, laundry, 4-H and everything else. The chapstick project looks so fun! Where did you get the supplies? That would be a fun thing to do with my girls. :-)Charlottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12695782474265436464noreply@blogger.com
